Dr. Don did a great job with the morning devotional, and spoke from 1 Kings about the story of Elijah, and Elijah’s hearing the “still small voice of God”. He mentioned how often we want to see God show up in big ways in what we are doing. We want him to crash with thunder, or overturn mountains in a giant earthquake, or split the atmosphere with a great wind, but more often than that, He speaks to us softly and quietly in our own hearts when we seek Him with untainted devotion. We were all encouraged by Don’s reminder, and so were our Indian brothers and sisters!
